The lid’s off

So yesterday as I was coming out of the roach motel, I saw a student from my school. I was so embarrassed because she noticed me and called my name. I have a bit of an ego, and I’m not proud to be living where I am—even though that’s what I can afford. How can the kids respect someone who lives like I do? I’m definitely nervous to go in today
